Kaytag
Human fighter, abnormally intense, arrives with philosophical clarity and a disturbing predilection for grabbing people
Kaytag
Race/Class: Human Fighter
Height: Approximately 6'3"
Distinguishing features: long cloak with frayed gold inlay; forest-green eyes with faint amber-green glow
Field Status: Active
Personnel Record
Kaytag arrived at the Citadel in a condition best described as "ready." No small talk. First recorded words: "The toilet." This may have been a priority assessment or a philosophical opening; records remain inconclusive.
Disposition: unrelentingly grounded. In a crisis he produces the sort of clarity that causes panic to quietly excuse itself. At the Miller Farm confrontation, he counselled an emotional farmer with more empathy than most clerics manage in a lifetime. Then immediately grabbed Tobin by the lapels when answers were required. Both responses seemed equally natural to him.
Field assessment: terrifying in a way that builds on acquaintance rather than fading. He sleeps fully clothed, shoes laced, cuddling his greatsword — a detail that seemed paranoid until you remember we live in a world where sky turned green and everyone vanished. His caution reads less like fear and more like respect for how badly things can deteriorate.
Prior history: not supplied.
[Records note — T.W.]: Kaytag is scary and then kind and then scary again. I think he might be the steadiest of the four. He carries something private with him — you can see it. I'm not going to ask. When he's ready, the file will be here.
