Something has happened.
I want to be more specific than that but I am still working on the vocabulary. What I can confirm is that all field personnel are currently unreachable. All of them. I have tried the Sending Stones. I have tried the dispatch board. I have tried shouting down the corridor, which I accept was not a formal protocol but I am running on very little sleep and a great deal of Blue Roc.
H.E.R.O. — or rather, H.E.R.O. in its current operational configuration, which is me and four applicants — asks the public to bear with it during this period. Response times may be longer than usual. "Usual," I should note, involved several hundred of the most capable heroes on the continent. I am doing what I can with the resources available.
